Buy Two Evils on iTunes

Well I’m mid-album right now, and I gotta say this is a very well written album. I hear a mix of influences, from 69 Eyes type music, to black metal roots, and a bit modern metal type stuff. From start to finish you can hear the rise and fall of this albums story. The melodies In Two Evils are incredible, along with the solos and the overall mood of each song. The placement of the songs on this record make it flow very smoothly, hard to find in a lot of albums these days, unless it’s a demo. At times it sounded like there was a different singer for such songs like “Goldmine” and “Army of One”.
Towards the beginning of this album, it was like the beginning of a movie, everything is explained through action and emotion. This progressed for a few songs. Then through the middle songs it was high energy almost like the best action scene in a movie. Then at the last couple of songs they were more ballad-like, like the sad part of a good movie, towards the end.
Overall I would highly recommend this album for anyone who enjoys good old fashioned metal. I surely loved it.
In conclusion I give this album 4 out of 5 devil horns \m/
