Recently I had the opportunity to have a good long chat with Aydin the very talented guitarist from the Birmingham rockers Revenant Dead. These metal monsters are starting to really make some waves in their native England and are poised to expand their domain beyond the borders. With the release of their second disc Two Evils it won't be long before these guys are scorching the airwaves worldwide. This is one band that has destiny on their side as they continue the tradition of metal mayhem that their hometown is known for.

'Atrophy', the opening track of 'Two Evils', the new opus from Birmingham quartet Revenant Dead, may have you thinking you've picked up a hybrid nu-death metal release but you soon realise that you're actually walking in the shadow of UK doom masters Paradise Lost.

This is just a quick blog about the first show of 2010. We've been working really hard on our sound and our overall stage show and it was such a relief to finally make it on stage and perform our new music. The crowd were really positive and we made a lot of new friends that night and we can't wait for the upcoming shows. So far, 2010 has been good to us. 2009 was a living hell!
